Mud River Flooding

May 4, 2018 | 3:56 PM

Some changes to yesterday’s evacuation alerts for 39 properties along the Upper Mud River Road.

One residence has now been put under an evacuation order as waters rise,  while 38 others remain on alert for the time being.

The Regional District is recommending home owners have an emergency kit at the ready, move equipment to higher ground and make arrangements for pets and livestock.

The River Forecast Centre has also added the Salmon River and its tributaries around Prince George to the long list of waterways through the province that are currently under a high streamflow advisory.
