Evacuation Order Downgraded To Alert In Nazko Area

WILLIAMS LAKE – Residents in the Nazko area were allowed to return to the area on Tuesday. The Cariboo Regional District downgraded both evacuation orders to an evacuation alert. 

While there is still potential for future flooding, residents are strongly encouraged to register for the Cariboo Chilcotin Emergency Notification System.

The map shows the areas that will be on evacuation alert.
