Busy Weekend Expected On Area Highways

PRINCE GEORGE-  As the long weekend approaches, travellers should be prepared for busy roads. Many people will head off on the first camping trip of the season. ICBC warns drivers to be cautious around those pulling trailers or driving large RVs, as they have large blind spots. On the other hand, those driving slow-moving RVs are asked to pull over to let faster traffic pass. In 2016, there were 140 crashes in the North Central region of BC. Road Safety Coordinator, Doug Mac Donald says that can be prevented by slowing down and keeping yourself from becoming distracted.
