This Place We Share: A Unique Performance In The City

PRINCE GEORGE- A unique dance performance is taking place this weekend at the Omineca Arts Centre. This Place We Share is a contemporary show that portrays the dancers connection to the studio, as well as the friendships made and memories shared. Choreographer, Gwynne Bilski, says the audience will connect with the show, even if they aren’t dancers because the show portrays a feeling of community. “This is really different from a lot of what we see from dance in Prince George,” says Bilski, “it’s usually a recital style with a lot of different disciplines of dance like, ballet, modern, tap, jazz, this is purely contemporary and it’s a more narrative show that builds more slowly.” Tickets are on sale at Excaliber Theatre Arts. Shows run from Thursday to Saturday, however, Thursday nights show is sold out.
