NABF heavyweight champion Oscar Rivas beats Belgian on Stevenson-Jack undercard
TORONTO — NABF heavyweight champion Oscar (Kaboom) Rivas won a unanimous decision over Belgian Herve (Double Hache) Hubeaux on Saturday night.
The judges scored the 10-round fight 99-91, 100-90, 100-90 for the Montreal-based Colombian. Currently ranked 11th by the WBC, Rivas improved his record to 24-0-0.
The fight at the Air Canada Centre preceded the main event pitting WBC light-heavyweight champion Adonis (Superman) Stevenson of Blainville, Que., against Badou Jack (The Ripper), a Las Vegas-based Swede.
The nine-fight undercard featured several lesser titles and an attempted ring invasion.
