Hospice Society Gets Big Donation

PRINCE GEORGE- The Prince George Hospice Society is celebrating this afternoon, after receiving a 25 thousand dollar donation from Prince George Motors. The donation has ensured room number seven at Hospice will be named after the dealership. The society is getting ready to renovate the rooms at Hospice House next year and require donations from the community to modernize them. “In 2009 we had renovated the building and now it’s ten years old and so a lot of the rooms have a lot of wear and tear, more than 350 people have gone through these rooms,” said executive director, Donna Flood,”we also want to replace some of the medical equipment that we use in here.” Currently, there are four more rooms available to be sponsored by corporations or individuals.
