VANDERHOOF – The community of Vanderhoof is in mourning after the loss of June Clark.  Her life was taken in a three-car accident Friday afternoon on Highway 16 about 10 kilometres east of Vanderhoof.   Clark was John Rustad’s campaign manager several times and president of the riding association.

Rustad says Clark was invaluable to him over his political career.

A small business owner,  Clark ran a project management company and spent many years at Northern Health.  From 2014 to 2016 she was a member of CNC’s Board of Governers.

June was also a tireless volunteer and was actively involved in her local church and with Ducks Unlimited. She served on numerous boards, such as the local Chamber of Commerce, University Resources Inc., the Innovation Resource Centre, Nechako-Kitamaat Development Fund Society, Nechako Community Church and the Good Neighbors Committee.
