Local Infielder Pens Commitment For College Ball

Just ahead of opening day for the senior men’s baseball season in Prince George, one player is looking even further down the road and what next year holds. As he approaches his third and final year in the league, Mike Schwab has already found a place to play next season. The grade 12 graduate will be heading to Lethbridge to play for the Prairie Baseball Academy Dawgs. The collegiate team plays in the Canadian College Baseball Conference and won 7 straight National Championships before seeing their streak come to an end this year. Regardless of the past results, Schmidt is looking forward to his new adventure.
