PRINCE GEORGE – The Law Enforcement Torch Run that was held last Thursday raised over $3600 to help support Special Olympics BC.

The 3.5-kilometre run helped raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics athletes in the Prince George area. More fun activities followed after the run.

“The Prince George Detachment is once again honoured to host the Law Enforcement Torch Run in our community,” says Supt. Warren Brown, Officer in Charge of the Prince George RCMP. “The public support has been overwhelming and the appreciation of the athletes makes all the efforts worthwhile.”
