Freemasons Convention Underway This Weekend

PRINCE GEORGE – A major convention is underway in the community this weekend. The torch was lit outside the Civic Centre, launching the Communication of the Grand Lodge of Freemasons. There are freemasons in Prince George from as far afield as California and New Brunswick. There are 147 lodges in BC and the Yukon with just under seven thousand members. This is the group of Freemasons who will hear resolutions and concerns about the organization’s constitution and the city has welcomed these guests with open arms.
