Spruce Kings Home Opener Against RBC Champs

Prince George’s other team, the Spruce Kings, will return to the ice a little before the Cougars do. The team announced their home opener today, which will be played against a team they got to know pretty well in the playoffs. The RBC Cup Champions, the Chilliwack Chiefs will be up in Prince George on September 7th for their first game in Prince George since they lost in game 7 of the first round of this year’s playoffs to the Kings. Before the game, a banner will be raised after the historic season they put together this year. Their full schedule is expected within the next few days.
