Spruce City Fastball Celebrates Canada Day With Annual Tournament

Canada Day long weekend means we get a couple of exciting events right here in Prince George, and some are even sports related. Down at the Spruce City Fastball Diamonds, the Canada Day Fast-Pitch Tournament gets underway this weekend. It is the 49th edition of the tournament that is welcoming the top two ranked Native teams in the country, in the Defending Canadian Native Fastball Champion Westbank Cardinals and the second place Regina Hawks. Those are two of the 11 teams featured in the Men’s Tournament that gets underway this evening. With the finals slotted for 3:30 on Sunday.
