TERRACE – A Terrace man faces multiple charges following a vehicle crash in Thornhill last Wednesday. Nathan Constantine Anthony McNamara, 33, is charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle and flight from police while being pursued in relation to the crash. He’s also been charged with obstructing a peace officer and mischief to property that took place on Monday, while he was in police custody.

At the time of the crash, police received reports of an erratic, possible impaired driver travelling at high speeds on Queensway Drive. The driver collided with an electrical pole on Crescent Street in Thornhill, which caused a power outage. Aside from the driver, there were two other people in the vehicle, who were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

McNamara remains in custody and awaits his appearance in court.
