311 Phone Service Coming

PRINCE GEORGE – Council has approved the City moving to the next stage of a new phone system that will make it much easier to reach City Hall.
The “311” phone system is a single point of access for non-emergency services. It makes it easier for residents than the current seven-digit number to gain access to the Service Centre.
The City will no apply to the Canadian Radio-Television and Telecommunications Commission for approval to implement the service as early as next year.
