Thunderbirds Ready For Softball At Summer Games

Among all the athletes taking off to the Cowichan Valley for the Summer Games, there is a large number of Prince George Thunderbirds. The female fastball team recently returned from Provincials with a gold medal in the Tier 2 final. The team is comprised of a mix of Prince George and Quesnel athletes. Six local girls made the team as well as eight from Quesnel. After playing their spring ball in the Women’s fastball league, the girls go down with confidence and excitement.
