Alberta Woman Faces Murder Charge In Vanderhoof Homicide

VANDERHOOF – A 24-year-old woman from Spirit River, Alberta has been charged for the death of a Vanderhoof man back in May. Police say Allie Leslie faces second-degree murder and will remain in custody until her court appearance on Monday.

At the time of the incident, RCMP was called to a hotel in the evening, where they found a 59-year-old man deceased. Mounties say the death had appeared suspicious and the North District Major Crime Unit was called in to investigate.

No further information is available at this time, however, it’s confirmed that both the victim and the accused knew each other.
