Fire Ban Issued In PG

PRINCE GEORGE –  With a fire ban going into effect at noon Thursday throughout the Prince George Fire Centre, there will also be one in effect within city limits of Prince George.

All open fire burning, including recreational fires, is prohibited due to current weather conditions and the number of fires in the region.

However, propane and natural gas fire pits are still allowed, but wood burning pits are not.

The ban will remain in effect until further notice.
