Dave Fuller Announces Council Intentions

PRINCE GEORGE-  A longtime resident of Prince George and businessman has officially announced his intentions of running for city council. Dave Fuller’s platform is people, the environment, and economics. Fuller says he wants more money spent on community programs to create a more ‘neighbourly’ feel in the city. He says he wants to see a change in the way our community recycles, improve air quality by partnering with industry, and better manage the waste treatment plant near College Heights. He says his business background will help on council, as he looks to hold the city accountable for its spending. “People hire me for two reasons, accountability and oversight of their business,” says Fuller,”I understand that government isn’t business but I think there are a lot of business practices that we might be able to bring into the city that can reduce the burden on taxpayers.”  Fuller says he will challenge transportation costs and city salaries.
