PRINCE GEORGE- Cariboo Rocks the North is just one day away. It is the largest music festival to ever come to Prince George. The three-day event will feature a number of classic rock bands just outside the CN Centre. Ticketholders are able to pick up their wristbands early to beat the lineups tomorrow night. The weekend is expected to be hot and smoky, so CN Centre staff suggest wearing the proper clothing and staying hydrated. “There will be available to go inside the CN Centre if you get too hot, we have been putting in our ice this week so the building is nice and cool,” says general manager, Glen Mikkelsen, “if you bring an empty water bottle you can fill that up throughout the day to get some fresh water, plus we will have water available for sale.” For those about to rock, you’re encouraged to bring a lawn chair, dancing shoes, and two pieces of ID. More information on the event can be found on its website.
