Knights Secure Trip To Provincial Final

The PG Surg-Med Knights are in their second provincial tournament in as many weekends and before getting their final round-robin game underway Saturday afternoon, the team had already earned a spot in Sunday’s final.

The midget-aged team opened the Baseball BC Provincials with three lopsided victories, outscoring their opponents a combined 46-12.

Their final round-robin game was Saturday against the Tri-City Thunder, a contest that held little meaning since a spot in the final was already promised.

The Knights won these provincials a year ago and are playing for another trip to Canadian Westerns, where they finished 2nd last year.
