PRINCE GEORGE – During last summer’s wildfire season, Highway 97 was closed to traffic, except emergency personnel. It meant that a long line of transport trucks that brings us bananas and lettuce didn’t make it to market. This marks the beginning of a series of stories on food security by Cheryl Jahn.
