Impaired Driving Campaign Stops 17 Drivers

PRINCE GEORGE – RCMP conducted an impaired driving campaign over the weekend. It included road checks, traffic stops in key areas and responded to impaired driving reports. Police were able to stop 17 drivers that were impaired by alcohol or drugs. There were two charges related to impaired driving, six 90-day driving bans that include a mandatory 30-day impound and nine other bans related to impairment by alcohol or drugs. Local Mounties will continue focusing on impaired driving.
