Quesnel Shooting Sends Two To Hospital

QUESNEL- RCMP received reports of gunshots heard in the 900 block of Abbott Drive at 4:30 this morning. Police located a vehicle believed to be involved in the incident that was parked in the 500 block of Doherty Drive. They then located two men suffering from gunshot wounds. Both men were transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries. The North District Emergency Response Team, Prince George Police Dog Services and a Forensic Identification Team from Williams Lake have helped the Quesnel Detachment. Police say the public is not believed to be at risk.

Police are investigating and ask anyone with information or witnesses of anything suspicious on the West Side of Quesnel between 4:15 and 4:45 this morning to come forward.
