PRINCE GEORGE – As of noon Wednesday, Category 2 and 3 open burning will once again be allowed throughout the Prince George Fire Centre. The public is encouraged to use caution with any outdoor burning or campfire use, despite the recent rainfall and cooler temperatures, resulting in the drop of fire danger ratings. Other fire-related items that will also be allowed include burning barrels and burning cages, air curtain burners, binary exploding targets, sky lanterns, fireworks and stubble or grass fires over an area smaller than 2,000 square metres.
