PRINCE GEORGE – Another new candidate has thrown his hat into the ring for Council, though he is not new to civic politics.

Cameron Stolz has announced he is running for Council. He was initially elected to Council in 2008 and served until the last election in 2014. During today’s announcement, Stolz consistently referred to the need for the City to be more fiscally accountable

“I think it’s important that, when you’re sitting at the table for Council, that you remember, you’re spending people tax dollars, that you’re spending their money. And if you’re going to spend their money, they should be getting value for that.”

He would be the lone voice for the business community now that Albert Koehler has opted not to run.
