Area Restrictions Lifted In PG Fire Centre

PRINCE GEORGE – All area restriction orders in the Prince George Fire Centre have been lifted by the BC WildfireService. The orders were put in place to protect the public and avoid any interference with wildfire control activities.

Anyone heading into the backcountry is asked to use caution in the wildfire-affected areas. Potential hazards include fire-damaged trees, ash pits, damaged trails, unstable terrain and damaged fencing.
