HIGHLIGHTS: Kings Move To 5-1 On The Season

SPORTS – Following a 4-0 loss against West Kelowna Thursday, the Spruce Kings were back in action Friday against the Penticton Vees at the BCHL Showcase. 
Minutes into the first Ben Brar took a quick pass from Ben Poisson to start the game off 1-0 Kings. After a quick deflection, the first period ended 1-1. With no action in the second period, the Vees heated things up with a goal 5 minutes into the third. The first penalty also went to Penticton giving Kings the advantage and Brar another point as he tied up the score 2-2 on the Power Play. 16 seconds later, Nick Poisson gets credit for his second of the season to end the game 3-2 for Prince George. 

The Spruce Kings move to 5-1 on the season with their next matchup against Surrey on Septemeber 28th.
