71-Year-Old Man Dies In Motorcycle Crash On Hwy 24

ONE HUNDRED MILE HOUSE – A single motorcycle crash on Highway 24 claimed the life of a 71-year-old man from the Lower Mainland. RCMP say it happened just after 4 pm Tuesday afternoon near Hillcrest Road, about 42 kilometres east of 100 Mile House. Investigators say the rider was experienced, but failed to make a turn and lost control leaving the road. They add that the man died at the scene. As the investigation continues, anyone with information about this collision is asked to call the Cariboo Chilcotin Regional Traffic Services in 100 Mile House at 250-395-2456.
