Nord University Delegates In Prince George

PRINCE GEORGE – A number of instructors from the Nord University in Northern Norway at in the city this week, meeting with their peers at UNBC.
There has been a relationship between the two institutions for years involving student exchanges, but this is the first time instructors have come over as well.

One of the organizers, Dr. Gary Wilson, Co-Ordinator of the Northern Studies Program, says there are so many similarities between the two universities and the regions are uncanny. 

“This program has strengthened the relationship between our two institutions and encouraged further collaboration in areas of research and teaching,” said Dr.Wilson.“The symposium will highlight some of the important research currently being undertaken at both UNBC and Nord in the field of northern development, as well as provide an opportunity to discuss future collaboration between our two institutions.”
