A trio of Prince George roller derby athletes were a spot away from making history this past weekend. Sonny Lewis, Theresa Sapergia and Kelly Hambleton were playing with Vancouver Murder at the Men’s Roller Derby championships in Salem, where they finished fourth, a spot away from becoming the first non-American team to medal at the event. The bronze-medal game was against Roller Derby Toulouse, who did become the first non-American team to medal with the 374-118 win.
