Advance Polling Numbers Lower Than 2014

PRINCE GEORGE – Four advance polling opportunities in the city of Prince George over the past couple of weeks saw 2,285 voters cast ballots.

This compares to a total of 2,663 ballots cast over three advance voting opportunities in the 2014 election.

Last election saw a 37 percent voter turnout with 19,710 votes cast, which was seen as higher than usual.

Tomorrow’s municipal election will see a total of 9 polling locations through the city open from 8 am to 8 pm.
