PRINCE GEORGE – It’s all or nothing for UNBC’s women’s soccer team this weekend. Friday night the women did what they needed to do and pulled out a win against the TRU Wolfpack 2-0.

It wasn’t until the end of warm-up that Timberwolves Brooke Molby, the backup keeper to Madi Doyle, found herself between the posts. Molby proved to be the difference in the game.

It was the Timberwolves who got on the board first, five minutes into the game with a goal from Ashley Volk. The goal was the first of Volk’s Canada West career and gave UNBC a 1-0 lead heading into the second.

In the second half, Canada West’s leading goal scorer Paige Payne made the pass to second-year Hannah Emmond who would nail it into the back of the Wolfpacks net. The second point of the game was Emmond’s first UNBC Career goal.
