PRINCE GEORGE – On November 5th, a new City Council will be sworn in. All six incumbent candidates are returning. They are Brian Skakun, Murry Krause, Terri McConnachie, Frank Everitt, Susan Scott and Garth Frizzell. Two new faces will grace Council Chambers for the next four years. They are Kyle Sampson and Cori Ramsay. Mayor Lyn Hall says he’s looking forward to moving ahead with this group of eight.

“When we take a look at the makeup of Council, it really reflects where we’re going as a community. I’ve talked a lot about how vibrant our community is and what’s going on in our community. And I think you saw with the addition of Kyle Sampson and Cori Ramsay, I think you’re seeing a reflection of  what’s taking place in our community.”

He says the return of all six incumbent candidates speaks to the general sense of satisfaction of what transpired in the past four years.

In terms of challenges, he says infrastructure will continue to pose a “huge” problem, and a potentially costly one, moving forward. But that’s not all.
