PRINCE GEORGE – The Timberwolves offence was the key to a big Friday night win for the UNBC Men’s basketball team as they took on the Trinity Western Spartans.

UNBC started the game with a 13-1 lead and ended the first quarter 31-13. Jovan Leamy and Austin Chandler combined for three dunks and 18 points before the second quarter had even started.

Heading into the second half, Timberwolves coach, Todd Jordan gave a few younger players like Kaelen McNeight, Chris Ross and Colburn Pearce a few minutes on the floor.

The Spartans tried to fight back in the second half but couldn’t get past the Timberwolves deep lead. The game ended with the final score of 101-58 for UNBC.
