Two Down, One More To Win

PRINCE GEORGE – The Spruce Kings kicked off their three-game island road tip with two wins. 

Friday night the Spruce Kings were in Powell River for their first game of the weekend which started with two goals from Ben Brar. Later in the second period, it was Brar with the assist to Ben Poisson to make the game 3-0 heading into the final 20 minutes.

The third period ended scorelessly and Prince George’s Logan Neaton took his first BCHL shutout.

On Saturday, it was Nick Poisson for the Spruce Kings who opened up the scoring against Alberni Valley and would be the only one to score in the first 20 minutes. The Bulldogs tied up the game in the second and later in the third, it was Brar with his 18th goal of the season which gave the Spruce Kings the lead and the win.
