Forestry Unrest Continues

PRINCE GEORGE – Labour unrest in forestry is mounting, as the Steelworkers Union has asked the mediator in the Southern Interior to book out.

It’s more of the same in the Northern Interior, though workers in three “orphan” Canfor mills are taking a strike vote this week.

Those three mills are Chetwynd, Polar and Plateau in Vanderhoof.
