RCMP believe suspect driver is from Lower Mainland in fatal hit-and-run

TERRACE – RCMP say they have made significant progress in the search for the driver involved in a deadly hit-and-run collision in Terrace, that killed a local man Sunday. 

Cpl. Mike Halskov with RCMP Traffic Services says two pickup trucks were found and seized late Tuesday afternoon on Haida Gwaii. One of them being a Ford F350, that had damage consistent with the crash.

As the investigation continues, police say seven people were identified and questioned. Following that, investigators believe they have identified the suspect driver, who is from the Lower Mainland area.
