PRINCE GEORGE – The Kiwanis Club wants to ensure the long-term future of the hugely-popular AleFest. The Kiwanis Club and the Two Rivers Gallery, which hosts the annual event, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding that will see the gallery receive $15,000 per year until 2021 to continue to host the event.

“When we started planning for AleFest in 2014, it was really important to us that we host our event in Downtown Prince George in a space that would allow us to bring in brewers and downtown restaurants. We were very fortunate to find a partner in the Gallery,” said Amy Dhanjal, Kiwanis President.  “It’s an ideal partnership because we know that the money for the venue goes back to the community to support children’s programs.”

This will be the fifth year for the Kiwanis AleFest.
