BURNS LAKE – Centerra Gold has joined School District 91 (Nechako Lakes) as a community partner after committing $45,000 over the next three years.

The funds will go towards the ongoing environmental care work that happens through all the high schools with the Streamkeeper – Water Stewardship work. This partnership will create unique learning opportunities for students across SD91.

“The School District’s values of ‘Excellence, Innovation, and Community’ are mirrored in the values guiding the work of Centerra Gold and so we see this as an excellent partnership for years to come,” said Manu Madhok, District Superintendent.
