We Are the Official Broadcast Partner of the World Para Nordic Skiing Championships

PRINCE GEORGE – CKPG and CKPGtoday.ca along with radio stations 101.3 The River, 99.3 The Drive have signed on as the official local broadcast partner of the 2019 World Para Nordic Skiing Championships in February.

The agreement will see the Prince George Jim Pattison Broadcast group of stations build enthusiasm through the community for the championships through promotional adverstisting, news coverage and live broadcasts.

“We’re thrilled to be a part of this event,  its really a no brainer for us,  we are so community minded and this event specifically is world calibre and that is so unique for us and for our city.  We certainly want to tell the stories leading up to the games,  certainly want to tell the stories of the games and the legacy afterwards,” said Mike Clotildes, General Manager – Jim Pattison Broadcast Group Prince George.

Through the deal its hoped the community will embrace inclusion,  diversity and build awareness for accessibility.
About 140 athletes from 20-25 counties are expected to compete during the games set for February 15-24 of next year at the Otway Nordic Centre.
