Couple of Spruce Kings putting pen to paper on Thursday, which is National Letter of Intent day. The two-goal scorer from Wednesday and team captain Ben Poisson announced in May his commitment to the University of Maine, but today got to sign on the dotted line, officially making him a Blackbear. Kings defender and current B-grade prospect according to NHL Central Scouting Layton Ahac also got to sign his letter of intent for The Ohio State University Buckeyes.
