Spruce Kings Dump Merritt 3-1

PRINCE GEORGE — The Spruce Kings prevailed 3-1 last night after a dominant first period that had the Kings outshoot the Merritt Centennials 17-6 and saw Tyler Schleppe, Ben Brar, and Sean Donaldson all score.

The team hasn’t lost in regulation since November 10 against the Langley Rivermen, who they welcome back to town Friday and Saturday night for 7 o’clock games. 

With the win, the Spruce Kings are now first in the Mainland Division with a 20-7-1-2 record.
