Cougars Seek Victories Against Victoria in Special Weekend

51 weeks ago the Victoria Royals came to town for a doubleheader with the Cougars. They played on a Sunday and a Tuesday, where a 5-4 overtime win for the visitors and a 5-4 regulation win for the Cougars was overshadowed by the fact that they were being showered by teddy bears after the weekend’s first goal. That’s almost the exact situation the teams find themselves in this weekend. Saturday night at 7 and Sunday afternoon at 2pm, the Royals and Cougars go at it again. Former Cariboo Cougar Griffin Outhouse will be looking to stop the Cougars, and their Sunday afternoon fans from flooding the ice with their winter gear donations in lieu of teddy bears this year. It all goes down at the CN Centre.
