Dressember Used To Aid Human Trafficking Fight

Dec 3, 2018 | 2:41 PM

PRINCE GEORGE — Dressember is an annual campaign that takes place in December, to aid the fight against human trafficking. Dressember was born when Blythe Hill learned of the issue of human trafficking in the world, and felt compelled to help.

In 2009, she challenged herself to wear a dress every day for the month of December. By 2013, she realized that this was so much more than a challenge, this was an opportunity for change to be made.

The dress symbolizes that anything can be done in dress clothes, including fighting against human trafficking.
