PRINCE GEORGE — A familiar face in the local courts has passed away. His name was Max and he was the first therapy dog working with the RCMP in Canada and the first therapy dog allowed in a courtroom setting. After retiring in August, though, Max has passed away on the weekend. As a therapy dog for several years, Max touched a lot of young lives and he leaves a legacy beyond Prince George.
