WILLIAMS LAKE, B.C. — The future of a Williams Lake Thompson Rivers University-run clinic is cloudy in light of the impending departure of the centre’s nurse practitioner.

According to a news release from Interior Health, Sandi Lachapelle will be leaving the Williams Lake and District Credit Union Community Health Centre as of this month.

That means the centre’s services are being suspended as of December 21.

While IH is recruiting for a new nurse practitioner to fill Lachapelle’s vacancy, no one has been hired as yet.
