Alleged Exchanges Of Money For Fake Jewelry In Fraser Lake

FRASER LAKE – RCMP say they have received reports of people being asked for money to get gas and food in exchange for fake jewelry around the Fraser Lake area.

Police say the suspects are believed to be a man and woman needing money to travel back to Ontario. They add that the suspects could be travelling in a black Kia SUV.

Investigators say there is no evidence that the property is stolen.

People are asked to report any suspicious behaviour to Fraser Lake RCMP at 250-699-7777 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477.
