PRINCE GEORGE- It certainly wasn’t the warm welcome to Prince George the Reiters were hoping for. After only living in the city for a month, they returned home last Saturday to find Curtis Reiters work truck had been stolen right out of their driveway with thousands of dollars worth of tools inside. Curtis says it took him six years to collect all of the tools and will take years to replace. He is asking the public to keep their eyes peeled for the white service truck as it’s his only hope of being reunited with his belongings. They’re also asking the public to watch for any tools on local buy and sell pages as they may be stolen.

Community Policing says property crime continues to be an issue in the city. Coordinator, Linda Parker, says those who believe they’ve found stolen goods online to report it to police immediately and not to take measures into their own hands.
