PORTLAND – Game two in Portland saw the Winterhawks shut out the Prince George Cougars Saturday night at the Veterans Memorial Coliseum.

Taylor Gauthier stopped 36-shots but it wasn’t enough to stop the Winterhawks from putting three pucks in the back of the Cougars net. Meanwhile upfront, Prince George couldn’t get past Portland’s goalie, leaving the game with a score of 3-0 at the end of 60 minutes.

Saturday was the Cougars fourth-straight loss on the road and their third time being shut out this season.

The Cougars will look for a win on Tuesday in Seattle when they take on the Thunderbirds at 7 pm.
