City To Seek Pool Funds

PRINCE GEORGE – Not surprisingly, Council overwhelmingly supported an application the City will make to secure funding from a new federal-provincial to offset the cost of replacing the Four Seasons Pool.

In October 2017, a referendum was conducted and the City was given public support to borrow no more than $35 million dollars for the project.

The new Canada Infrastructure Program targets Community, Cultural and Recreation Infrastructure. $35 million is set to come to BC.

“Let’s make sure some of that comes to Prince George,” said Councillor Garth Frizzell.
